About Which Starlink

An independent US decision guide: it helps first-time buyers pick the Starlink plan and dish that fit, shows what year one adds up to, and says so when waiting is the better call.

What this site does

Which Starlink answers one question for first-time US buyers: which Starlink should I get? The chooser on the home page asks five questions and names one plan and one dish. The guides behind it explain the reasoning tier by tier and dish by dish, and they say “wait” when working fiber, a build due soon, a seasonal home or a short-term need makes Starlink a poor buy.

Who publishes it

Neither SpaceX nor Starlink owns, endorses or sponsors Which Starlink; it is an independent US publisher. It sells nothing, installs nothing and has no view into anyone’s Starlink order or account. Pages carry the site name as their byline. The site has been online since .

Where the facts come from, and how they’re dated

Prices, fees, speeds and rules come from Starlink’s own pages: the US order lists (read with no address entered), its legal documents (Terms of Service, Referral Program Terms, Service Plan Descriptions, Specifications, Limited Warranty), its help-center articles and its spec sheets. Each figure is stored with its link and the day it was read, and every guide prints a “Facts checked” date with its sources underneath. Press reports appear only where Starlink publishes nothing, and they are labelled as press reports.

Changes Starlink makes are logged on the changelog. The editorial policy sets out the rules in full.

What hasn’t been done

No Starlink dish has been tested for this site, so nothing here is a hands-on review. Kit details are Starlink’s spec-sheet figures, and speeds are Starlink’s expected ranges rather than measurements of ours. If that ever changes, the page concerned will say what was tested, where and when.

How the site earns

One way only: a Starlink referral link. When a first-time customer places a starlink.com order through it and qualifies, Starlink rewards that customer and, separately, the person who runs this site. Every referral button has its disclosure right beside it. There are no ads and no sponsored posts. How we make money has the details.

How mistakes get fixed

Pages are re-checked against Starlink’s own pages before each update. When a check shows that a page of ours got something wrong, the fix is logged on Corrections with the date, the old wording and the new one. When Starlink itself changed something, that goes on the changelog instead. Readers aren’t asked to write in, and no personal details are ever requested.
